81 Silverado p/u. I have tried to reglue the liner; no foam remaining on factory material. It came loose when the cab first got hot. I used 3M brush-on glue. Do you have the facory type liner with the tiny holes? My backer board is brushed clean!

It is almost impossible to replace the old headliner material that has fallen in an automoible and expect it to stay for any length of time. There has been a lot of people that have tried it, but to no avail. it is much more sensible to spend a few extra bucks and buy the new headliner material and get the job done right the first time.
