I have 2005 Chevy truck; do I take out the headliner to recover it?
Here is a Buick Regal that we recovered the headliner while it was inside the car.
That is a good question because it seems that it would be easier to replace the headliner while it is in the truck, just strip the old headliner off and replace it with new material inside the truck. But there are several things to consider... like working over your head, extremely hard to do for the long amount of time it will take to replace the headliner. And like, spraying adhesive inside the cabin of your truck or car, it may get on everything. And like scrapping the old foam off the old headliner inside your vehicle, gets the interior very dirty. If you are good with those 3, replacing the material while the headliner is inside the truck is fine. If you are not ok with those 3, then you should remove it and that is what we would recommend. You will do a better job outside the vehicle, and you will get a better looking headliner with the board outside the vehicle.
Replace your chevy truck headliner with a headliner kit from WLS Headliners.
