I have a 1999 International 4700 and I want to remove the headliner.

I have a 1999 International - Model 4700 I want to remove the headliner but it being retained by some kind of plastic screw that goes through a flush mount cap. Problem is when you turn on the screw it doesn't come out. How are these screws removed? Is there a special removal tool or what? Thanks.....Joe

These type of plugs can be pulled out (by pulling straight down) if turning them doesn't remove them. This is probably more like a plastic plug instead of a screw, pry them up with a screwdriver or something equivalent and then pull them out. At any rate - you will have to remove it to get the headliner board out, so you may as well go ahead and grab hold to it with pliers and pull'er out.
